Heya!

I hope you are all okay; today’s post is going to be about my visit to the Hitchin Lavender fields.

The Hitchin lavender fields are located in Hitchin (obviously). There is a whole meadow of lavender and also when I went there was also a huge patch of sunflowers and things like wild flowers.

There is also a café on site where you can sit and relax or plenty of picnic areas also if you want to bring something of your own. As well as being able to buy lavender from the shop there you can also pick your own.

For around £4 you are given a large brown bag and some cutting sheers/scissors so you can pick your lavender. There is also a trail you can follow if you don’t want to go picking and want to have a nice dog walk in the sun or something like that.

The Lavender is set out in a meadow on a slight hill and there are actually different varieties of lavender on display. It was actually sooo pretty and I really loved it!

After walking through the lavender and taking a lot of pictures we went over to see the sunflowers. They were huge! They were so pretty and I brought one to take home for 50p which is now sitting pride of place in a vase of water in our kitchen.

After having a walk through the fields it was time to find some shade and have our picnic. We had a browse in the shop before heading home.

It was a lovely day and a great activity for the summer. I hope you enjoyed reading about it!

Thank you

Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing super well! Today’s post is going to be all about my trip to Sketch.

As part of my 18th birthday present I chose to go to Sketch with my family. Sketch is a restaurant in London with various different rooms which have different themes. These themes are displayed through both the decoration and food.

I chose to have afternoon tea at sketch in what I call the ‘pink room’ but I think it is actually known as the gallery.

The room was decorated by a commissioned artist and it was so just the prettiest thing ever. I loved it!

The afternoon tea consisted of sandwiches scones and cakes and there was plenty of it to say the least, I also had the nicest green tea infused with orange flavouring. It was also all really, really tasty, which for a fussy eater like me was very surprising.

Not only was the décor of the gallery room where we had our afternoon tea incredible but the toilets where set out in pods which created a whole other experience, haha.

After having our afternoon tea at sketch we then went for a wonder around some of the nearby shops which was very nice also.

For the day I wore my house of Holland tartan dress which I absolutely love! I paired this with my light pink Zara leather jacket which I got for my birthday along with my Alexander sunglasses and Stella McCartney clutch which I also very kindly got for birthday. I then wore some black chunky heels to complete the look.

I had a really lovely day and was a great way to end my 18th birthday celebrations. I hope you have enjoyed today’s post and thank you once again for having a read!

Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing well! So I recently had my 18th birthday. Well I guess not that recently now as I am a bit late writing this post oops! Anyway I thought I would share with you guys what I did on my birthday so that’s what this post is going to be about.

So on my actual birthday we went to London. Now as most of you may know I have a twin brother. So we were both celebrating. For his choice we went to the hard rock café, which is somewhere I also love so it worked out very well. It is also where we went for our 13th birthday so it was quiet nice to come back for another one of our special birthdays.

At the Hard Rock Café I had my first legal drink. I chose a really tasty cocktail with an orange fruity taste. For my meal I had macaroni and cheese which was also very nice! We then all shared a chocolate brownie and ice cream for dessert as the portions at the Hard Rock Café are huge!

Once we had finished our meal we went for a tour around the Hard Rock Café basement where we got to see lots of iconic memorabilia from the music industry. This was also very cool.

After we were finished at the Hard Rock Café we just went for a wonder around London and visited a few of the shops.

I also thought I would share with you guys my outfit for my birthday.

I wore my black floral bright printed dress which I really love and actually picked up in the sale. I paired this with my black Primark heeled boots which have lasted me over two years now and are still going strong even after them only costing £15. I also wore my brand new Vivienne Westwood bag which I got for my birthday and made everything feel that little bit more special. As well as this I wore my burgundy Alexander McQueen sunglasses which I also got for my birthday and where perfect for the very sunny weather.

I had a very lovely day and am very thankful for it. I hope you guys enjoyed reading about what I got up to.

Thank you

Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing very well! Today I have an exciting post for you about being on set with FSL aka Fashion Show LIVE.

I spent a day with FSL where they were filming for their pre launch video and for their promo! I got to see what went on behind the scenes.

This included different locations, models, makeup artists and hair stylists, media teams and all kind of exciting things!

So lets get into a bit of behind the scenes info about what went on.

Our first location was at a skate park.

Models Marta and Maria modeled for us in our first location.

Art Director Sean Directed the first shoot and made sure the models knew what they had to do and all the shots that were needed where being taken by the media crew.

The media team Rohit, Mindi, Mark and John were filming and capturing all of the shots from different angles and view points for the video.

Once all shots from location one had been captured we moved on to our second location.

This was the dress house.

Again our media team worked hard to capture all of the shots alongside art director Sean directing them.

Our first shots where filmed outside before locating inside.

Adina, Aimee, Keely and Asher worked on organizing everything which was needed and ensuring everything was in the right place and making sure it was okay to go ahead with the shoot.

Before the inside scenes where shot Makeup Artist Ria gave our models Thai, Francesca, Marta, Maria and Kychia a make over for the next scenes.

Once the makeup had been done the models now where transformed into their couture designer garments for their next look in the shoot.

It was then time for hair transformations. The brief was voluminous and bold.

The hair really topped off the dramatic look for the final scene.

It was now finally time for the final scene to be shot.

The scene was captured inside the dress house and had a very luxury, glamorous vibe to it!

Being on shoot whilst FSL where filming for their pre launch video was amazing. The outcome of the footage is even better though and something you guys just have to see!

The picture shows below the amazing team which worked on set on the day to create the video.

FSL are holding a pre launch were you can all come along and watch the video! I will posting a whole other blog post tomorrow with all the details so keep an eye out!

Thanks for reading!
