Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing very well,

So for today's post I thought I'd share with you my latest additions to my Lipstick Collections, which is of course my Nicki Minaj x Mac Lipsticks. Ever since their release I couldn't wait to get my hands on them but whenever I tried they always seemed to be out of stock.

Well anyway I finally got my hands on them and I just couldn't decide out of the two shades which one I wanted. If I am completely honest I kind of wanted one of them for the name of the shade 'The PinkPrint' It's just a super iconic name but then the other one I wanted for the Shade. Well it was just meant to be because Mac released a student discount code and were offering free delivery over a certain amount as well as a free sample of their strobe cream (which I hadn't tried before) so I just went for it!

Anyway my order finally arrived and I've done some swatches and taken some photographs so I thought I'd share them with you...

First of all can we just talk about the packaging. It has a kind of metallic shine to it which I think just makes it look really luxurious. I also really appreciate how the outside packaging is reflective of the colour of lipstick as with most Mac lipsticks you find yourself opening every lipstick lid to find out which colour it is.

The packaging of the boxes match the actual lipstick holder which I really like. They also of course have Nicki's signature on them which I feel adds the exclusive feel.

So lets actually talk about the shades. The first one I'm going to talk about is the Nicki's nude. This is the one I brought because I really liked the colour online. Now what I will say this would probably be remeinsient of a nude lipstick if you have a similar skin tone to Nicki. However I knew for me this wouldn't be a nude but I liked that it still had a neutral tone to it.

Although this isn't a nude on my skin I really do like the shade. Its perfect for when you don't want a really bold lip like a red but you still want it to be visible that you are clearly wearing lipstick.

It creates a really put together vibe but you really don't have to think about it as the shade goes with pretty much everything.

Below in the pictures you can see images of the shade. I will talk about the consistency of the formula a bit further down.

Now lets talk about 'The PinkPrint' lipstick shade. This was the lipstick which when I saw the name of it I was just like I have to have it!

Now I would just like to mention I do have very pale skin so that does play a factor to my opinions.

On Nicki this colour really does stand out as baby pink and could be considered a bold look.

However on my skin tone it is more of a pink nude. It is perfect for me with a very subtle makeup look for everyday where. It goes with everything but has a nice pink tone to it so its not boring.

Below are pictures of the shade...

Now, I don't normally actually tend to be a huge nude lipstick wearer and I tend to normally go for  a bold lip. However since purchasing these I legit have not stopped wearing them. Its almost like I've forgotten about my other lip products since I've got these.

Lets talk about the formula.

So it may actually surprise you but I only actually own two other mac lipsticks other than these two Nicki ones. I have cyber which is a very deep purple, I love the colour but I think in order to create the pigmentation of this colour the formula really is not very nice. The other lipstick I own from Mac is Mehr which is a similar nude colour and I love this lipstick but I do have to wear it with lip-gloss as I do find it can be drying.

However the formula of these two Nicki lipsticks is very different. They are creamy and very soft on the lips. They glide on and don't need more than one coat but they are also very build-able if you want to create a stronger colour.

So, Whats the wear like?

Well I wasn't actually expecting much in terms of wear due to the creamy consistency of the formula I felt that it wouldn't last long. However the first time I wore the lipstick out I had a full day at Uni and forgot to bring my lipstick with me, by the time I had come home my lipstick was still intact despite eating in it and wearing it for so long. There was a slight fade in colour but there was no areas which disappeared or wore off that were visible.

I have also found that when topping up it is easy to do so with these lipsticks, the glide on and do not create a patchy look in the slightest.

If I am very honest with you all I didn't have huge expectations for these lipsticks and I was kind of drawn into getting them due to the celebrity endorsement. However I really have been pleasantly surprised and these two lipsticks are now staple pieces in my makeup bag and collection.

If you want to see the lipsticks being tested in a video format then I would definitely check out Nikkie Tutorials YouTube video first -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nc99x71bkA&t=406s

I hope you enjoyed having a little read! I really do appreciate it!

Thank you

Hey guys,

Hope you are all okay, so if you know me or follow me on any of my social medias you probably already know that I met Jessie J and went to her recent tour. I have already uploaded a Vlog of this to YouTube. But I'm just still not over it and to be honest I don't know when I will be but I thought why not tell you all on my blog as well!

So as you probably already know I've been supporting Jessie J's music for about 8 years and for so many different reasons. Not only has her music hugely helped me but her vocals are just something else. She brings a whole new realness to the music industry and its something I really appreciate.

I've been to every tour and many more gigs just to see her and each time I am truly blown away by her talent and always leave inspired.

Anyways long story short I got VIP Tickets to see Jessie J on tour which meant I got access to see the soundcheck a group meet and greet, photo with, laminate, signed print and a merch item as well as of course access the show which meant I also got barrier.

So after a long journey to London I made it to KOKO London which is where the venue was for the tickets I had.

When I first got there I was pretty early but I got to catch up with some people I hadn't seen in a while which was nice.

Once we where let in we where given our lanyard laminate and our merchandise item. A black cap with R.O.S.E across it.

We where then shown to the main arena where we got to watch Jessie J sound check. Which was super incredible of course.

After this we where taken up to the bar area where we got to start our Meet and Greet. It really was amazing, it was super personal and we all got to say a bit about ourselves and talk to Jess. We had our group Meet and Greet for around an hour which is really good. I have the footage on my vlog which Ill leave linked at the bottom.

Here it is my photo with Jess.

It truly was an amazing experience and I am so thankful that I had this chance.

After the Meet and Greet we got to enter the arena before everyone else. We got barrier which was super good.

De'Wayne Jackson and Stanaj where the support acts and they where really amazing both of them have incredible vocals.

It was then of course time for Jessie J.

She opened the show with Who You Are. Which was amazing. The venue was small which was very nice and intimate. It was really nice to showcase Jess's vocals and the show felt very real and honest which is something which made it so special.

I've also got some clips of the gig on my Vlog and over on my YouTube if you want to check them out.

I know this is a super short post and there is not much to it but I just had to share with you guys about this over on my blog. Especially as I'm trying to make things on here a little more personal as well as I was to concerned about it having a processional feel but I want to just keep it real.

Anyways I hope you enjoyed having a little read ether way.

If you haven't already you can check out Jessie J's new music on her YouTube here- https://www.youtube.com/user/JessieJVEVO/videos

My Vlog of the day is also here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17-eyQEKh08&t=1346s

Hey guys,

So it really has been a while since my last post. Now I don't want to post this and promise I'm going to religiously post every week but I can tell you I am going to try my best.

I haven't posted for so long on my blog because I kind of turned it into a more professional platform after starting my YouTube channel and using that as more of a personal hobbie but I just found myself not having the same passion and enjoyment towards my blog. Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed it but I just wasn't really feeling the extra pressure of it to make it professional and I guess that's what stopped my posting so often because I felt it wasn't at the standard I wanted it to be at.

I have kind of just got to the point now though that I really just want this to be a real platform. Where I can post my thoughts feelings, maybe some reviews of products, the trips I've been on and of course still fashion because that is still one of loves! I think I would just love to bring this back as a hobbie and then maybe I could create a separate kind of platform for all things work and professional related.

I think so often we are consumed by only seeing the good things in people's lives and I just want to be more real with you all. Don't get me wrong I have an amazing life and I am really blessed but sometimes it seams like there is never anything at all wrong just through the use of social media and maybe through my blog I can show you both sides of things just to add a bit of realness.

So I guess this was just kind of a mini explanation and I just want to also say it honestly means so much to me that you all support me and read my blogs and support everything I do! I hope you enjoy the blog posts I have to come...

Thanks so much for reading...

Hey guys,

I hope you are all doing super well!

Today's blog post is going to be all about Fashion Show LIVE catwalk show! Now I am sure by now if you have been following me for a little while you will know all about Fashion Show LIVE, but incase you don't all of there links will be at the end of this blog post, so be sure to go check them out.

I actually Vlogged the Fashion Show LIVE show day so if you want to check that out you can watch it here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW91ZTqWOvE

However I did still want to do a little blog post just to tell you a little bit about the day and the event. Unfortunately though because I was Vlogging I didn't really get a chance to take many photos!

I will also be doing a lot of separate posts related to the event (which will include a lot more photos) so keep an eye out for them to come also...

Anyway lets get into the actual post! So I actually had work in the morning so I arrived at the Carnival arts Centre (where the event was being held) at around one in the afternoon roughly as soon as I had finished my shift. Upon arrival it was already looking so so exiting and there was an amazing buzz even for just everyone who was helping to get things set up.

I of course had a spot of lunch first as anyone who knows me knows I'm not the best person to be around if I haven't eaten! Haha.

We then got set on preparing the front of house area and putting all the posters and signs up for Fashion Show LIVE to make the venue look more professional and ready for the event. Whilst we were doing this there was a dress rehearsal taking place as well as the dancers rehearsing and makeup and hair being done and the set all being put up.

Once everything was all ready and set up it was about five in the afternoon so we then all of us that hadn't already got our hair and makeup done. Alex did my makeup where she gave me some fake eyelashes and some super sparkly pink glitter lips. I then got my hair done by Benedict hairdressing where I was given a super funky styled quiff.

Once we were all ready we took our positions. I was front of house where I was greeting the guests, collecting tickets and giving out the wristbands and goodie bags!

At the front of house we had music playing, selling stools, food and drinks, photographers ans a real social buzz.

It was then time for the show to begin!!!

Everyone made their way to the staging area, but it wasn't just any kind of entrance to the main arena. The route was led through with hundreds of balloons to guide you to your seats.

Once everyone was seated the show began.

The show was opened by the premiere of the film produced by Broken Lens group.

The dancers and models then took to the stage with their performances and showcasing the designers collections and the confidence which Fashion Show LIVE as given to its models. This was so so exciting but I am going to do a whole separate post all about the catwalk so keep an eye out for a post on that!

The show was so incredible the staging was so professional and the vibe was amazing! I was genuinely so inspired and it wasn't even the first time of watching it! It was an incredibly proud moment for myself and everyone involved! The show ended with a huge thank you to everyone and the audience left with an outstanding energy from the show.

(photograph by fotojig)

The event really was something else and everyone involved work so hard there was even things like a snapchat filter made just for the event!

Make sure to keep an eye out on my posts to follow which will be all about the event with some amazing photos!

Thank you so much for reading and for all the support!

Hey guys,

I hope you are all well, today’s blog post is something a little bit different but I thought I would use it as my way of inviting you all to something which I have been working on recently.

So as I am sure you are aware by now I have been working alongside Fashion Show LIVE as a blogger. For those of you who don’t really know what Fashion Show Live is I will leave all of their links below but as a brief summary Fashion Show LIVE use the arts, music and fashion to build self esteem. The participants take part in a 24 week run programme which involves things such as therapy sessions and yoga and to finalise the programme they take part in the finale fashion show as a model to showcase how far they have come.

The finale FSLCatwalk Show will be held on the 8th of July at the Carnival Arts Centre in Luton and that is what I would like to invite you too!

The Fashion Show will showcase designer’s works who have worked with the likes of Vogue. There will also be live musicians and performances both during the show and at the welcoming reception. In addition there will also be vendors and a chance for you to see how far the participants now models have really come and the improvement with their self esteem. The event will be to a very professional standard and the likes of bloggers will be attending but of course the invite is open to absolutely anyone.

I would really love to see you there. The ticket prices vary dependant on which ticket you get, for example there are options of a standard ticket, a front row ticket, or a VIP ticket.

If you are unable to purchase tickets online please do not hesitate to send me a message!

I can’t wait to see you there!

Thank you once again for you all your support!

Hey guys,

I hope you are all well. For today's post I wanted to share with you some of my Behind the Scenes Images from a video shoot I recently went to for Fashion Show Live.

Encase you didn't already know Fashion Show Live use a 24 week based program to improve self esteem in people by using fashion, music and the arts. During the program the models get to take part and experience things such as yoga. The program is completed with a finale catwalk show which will be held on the 8th of July.

The video which was produced from this shoot which I attended will be showcased on the 8th of July at the catwalk show so make sure you get your tickets for it. You can buy them here - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/fashion-show-live-fashionista-catwalk-show-tickets-34279786765?aff=es2

When I arrived the Broken Lens Team were setting up and the models were just beginning to get their makeup done.

Once the models makeup were done the first scene was of course then filmed. Through out the whole shoot there were several different scenes with different backdrops/locations but I'm not going to give too much away as you will get to see it on the 8th of July at the Catwalk show!

However here a few sneak preview BTS photos I took from the first scene...

The first scene also had amazing makeup on the model that was being filmed. Again here is a little sneak preview of what the look was...

Here is a sneak preview of the second scene set up -

Whilst on set we also took the opportunity to get some BTS shots and some images for the Fashion Show Live Social pages.

During the shoot some of the models also had a change in Makeup looks.

There where several other scenes (one of them featured below) however we want the video to still be a surprise when you see it on the 8th of July so today's post is more about a few pictures opposed to me going in depth about what happened and what we did.

If you do want to have a little bit more of a sneak peak at the behind the scenes shoot if you haven't already seen it I did vlog some of it and you can watch that here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DP8METG8BQM

But if you want to see the real thing and not only that a catwalk show as well as lots more make sure you come to the Fashion Show Live Catwalk Show on the 8th of July and remember you can get your tickets here- https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/fashion-show-live-fashionista-catwalk-show-tickets-34279786765?aff=es2

I am also thinking about writing a more controversial blog post all about my thoughts on social media, very much inspired by Fashion Show Live and was wondering if this is something you guys would be interested in reading about?

All the people who were involved in making the video shoot so great links are below and I would also just like to say how professional and high standard everything about the shoot was and a special thank you to Broken Lens Group who filmed and produced the whole thing.

Thank you for reading!

Hey Guys,

I hope you are all well. So I thought I would share with you guys some photos of where I am staying whilst I am at uni. I hope you enjoy.

As most of you probably know I am currently at Falmouth University but my accommodation is based in Penryn. Which is a small little town next to Falmouth.

Because the weather in Cornwall is typically warmer due to it being closer to the sea there are some really nice plants in and around where I live.

There are also some really cute houses.

Further down from the Uni you can walk into the town center where there is the high street with some cute little shops and places like the village hall.

Continuing the walk down from the shop you get to Penryn harbour. Which is really cute.

Here are some pictures of me at the harbor. I am wearing Zara Dungarees with a basic sol cal tee and my Kanken backpack.

Only a quick little post today but I wanted to share with you guys a little bit about where I am staying and some of my pictures. I hope you guys enjoyed!
