Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing well.

Okay so if you have had a little read of my last blog posts you may have seen I've done a couple of posts about New York and London Fashion week. Well today's post is all about Paris Fashion week.

I thought I would share with you some of my favourite shows.

So lets get into it...

Paris fashion week tends to showcase more traditional style fashion with a very high class appeal. I really appreciate the garments of this style.

Now as I don't want this post to go on forever I am going to only briefly talk about the collections however I will be including both links and pictures so that you can get a feel for the look and you can research further if you see something that you are really interested by.

Firstly there was of course the Dior Show.

The Dior show was obviously fantastic. There was a classical look to the collection and it felt very high end, The garments looked delicate and special.

You can watch the full show here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDHoBi3pFko

Secondly Harder Ackerman put on another special show at Paris Fashion week.

The collection showcased high end tailoring and suits as well as a focus on pleats. I was particularly mesmerized by the coordinating pleating in the suits.

There was then Junya Watanabe.

Branching out into the more innovative side of Paris Fashion week. The show had an edgy and rebellious vibe. Geometry was portrayed using high quality tailoring and it created a very interesting show.

Next was Rick Owens.

Colour and draping was a key feature at this seasons show. Unconventional ideas where combined with traditional style to create a high end innovation.

You can watch the full show here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVrbFOXlc7M

Of course Balmain was one of my favs at Paris Fashion week also.

Balmain this season displayed tropical themes. The clothes portrayed a confidence and sexiness which wasn't shown in the typical 'emphasis on curves look' but instead was shown by the draping and structure.

In addition the Chloe fashion show was also very special.

This seasons collection showcased an urban city girl vibe whilst keeping this very classy and sophisticated. When watching the show I was constantly thinking of the typical blogger style clean cut but different,

You can watch the show here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OudOuLZKBQY

Now finally and last but not least it is of course Dries Van Noten.

Flowers and luxury style where of course the theme. However even though this may not be a new concept for the brand the clothes where still very special and in no way boring. The garments hold an entire identity with them.

So I kept today's post short and sweet but the never the less I hope you liked it!

Thank you so much for reading!

Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing very well!

So Today's Post for you guys is going to be about some of my favourite shows from London Fashion week, Now London Fashion week is by far my favourite fashion week personally. I think it is so exciting and creative which I love. I also think there is a clear difference between the designers and they all really stand out.

Because of that it was sooo hard for me to narrow it down to my favourites so even though I have cut some out I still do have a lot and as I wanted to talk about them all I'm going to keep my writing about them very short as I don't want to bore you all but I really want to show you all of the designers I have really loved.

So enough of my waffle, lets get into this!

The first designer which I firstly really loved at London fashion Week this season was Alice Archer.

She used a lot of print and embroidery in her work and there was a lot of focus on texture and colour.

I really loved this years show. The garments had a classy elegant look yet they where not the same old kind of 'boring' style. They where unique and had character to them.

Secondly there was Ashley Williams.

I loved her catwalk show. It had a really modern feel to it yet it was still edgy and to me kind of summed up the kind of style you would find in a Dazed magazine.

There was then of course Bora Asku.

The collection had a very feminine feel to it and boasted frills and light fabrics with florals and lots of pretty pinks.

Someone very different to this but a show I also loved was Emilio de la Morenas.

This showcased bright colours, ruffles and accentuated shapes. The colours in contrast with the fabric for example was unusual however I think it worked well.

Next up is Mimi Wades show.

I loved this show! I really felt liked this summed up the creativity of fashion in London right now and it was great to say this displayed at fashion week. There where loud colours and prints but they all worked together perfectly to create an individual style.

Fyodor Golan is another brand who really had an emphasis on uniqueness.

The looks where experimental creatively yet well thought out technically and it really did produce items which stood out.

Now of course it was inevitable the House of Holland show was also one of my favs.

Again the show was a complete surprise and whilst still creating the brands style the designs where different to previous. Ruffles had a huge part to the show which I felt gave of a sassy country vibe whilst accompanied with the checks which felt exciting and fresh and it is a style not often seen on the catwalk.

Not surprisingly Mary Katrantzou was another designer which of course I also loved.

The prints did not fail to impress and take you into what feels like a whole other universe. The garment shapes also worked really well around these patterns and emphasized the boldness.

Molly Godard was another name which did not disappoint.

I was particularly a fan of the over-sized party style statement dresses and was really taken by the focus on texture.

In addition I was really impressed by Natasha Zinko.

The garments boasted a contemporary creativeness and basic shapes worked with cut outs to produce and very stylish look.

Peter Pilotto was a major one that impressed me this season.

Literally WOW was my reaction when I saw the show. The prints took you to another world and the
garments gave of an atmosphere of there own something that is a really unique thing to capture.

Piers Atkinson also something different to display.

The collection I felt had an emphasis on skin but this was displayed in a variety of ways which is what made the collection so interesting.

Of course there is also Sadie Williams.

The garments had a graphic approach with focus on shapes and symmetry which is something which just recently I have began to really appreciate.

Furthermore there was Sharon Wauchob.

This show had a more classic style to it but it was still so mesmerizing. The fabrics literally look like they shone from the luxuriousness.

Sophia Webster was also a show stopper of course!

Specializing in accessorizes there was nothing small about the show. It was vibrant and oozed positive vibes.

Last but not least Teatum Jones was another unforgettable show from this seasons London fashion week.

The collection had a really luxurious vibe to it and the shapes and prints added an individuality to a high class style.

I literally loved everything. London Fashion Week has really been amazing and I have felt so inspired. I really hope you guys have enjoyed reading about and looking at some of the shows I have particularly loved.

Thanks for reading and all the support!

Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing very well! So as you may have seen from my last blog post I talked about the top 10 shows at New York Fashion Week. However there was one show that really stole the show for me this season at New York Fashion Week and it was that good I just had to do a separate post for it. So here I am doing that post.

So I'm sure your desperate to know which show I am on about if you haven't already guessed. Well it was of course the Marc Jacobs show.

Now if I am completely honest Marc Jacobs is not a show which every season I am like omg wow in the same way for example I am with the House of Holland shows. However this season it really was something very exciting and I absolutely loved it!

So lets get into it.

The Marc Jacobs catwalk showcased some of the most eccentric and bold statement pieces that this seasons New York fashion week had seen.

There was particularly a big emphasis in the show on the shoulders. They were enlarged and shaped in a way that created a bold and strong confidence.

The colours and embellishments on the garments really made each piece special and unique. They were not in your face yet they stood out like a shinning star and truly incredible thing to perfect.

The chunky shoes also of course added to the confidence and bold image displayed on the catwalk.

What particularly interested me was how somewhat casual clothes where styled in a way that the looked so glamorous and fashionable.

The statement hair and makeup also of course added to the look to create a strong character.

You can also watch the show here to see more- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4vemwxS6kw

I really hope you have enjoyed having a little read of today's pots. I would also love to know what you thought about the Marc Jacobs show.

Thank you!

Hey guys!

I hope you are all doing super well! So today I thought I would do a little post about some of the key shows from New York Fashion Week. So as you may know Fashion week is one of my favourite times of the year. It gets me so excited and the buzz is just so incredible so I thought I'd share with you guys today some of my favourites from New York fashion Week.

Okay so firstly there is of course Coach. The Spring 2017 collection was designed by Stuart Vevers. The vibes gave of a tough girl look with leather jackets and studs to accompany a rebel style.

But it wasn't just a typically rebellious look. The collection was put together in a very interesting way. For examples feminine sheer types of fabrics where used to create the edgy look which created the perfect contrast.

The unusual combination of silk scarves and creeper style shoes where put together but it worked perfectly to create an edgy yet super fashion orientated high end look.

Although I love the punk style it is not always something I am immediately wowed by. However this collection really was special and different to others.

If you want to see even more you can watch the show here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6J9ffic1cc

The Next show to of course showcase another amazing collection was Victoria Beckham. The designer stuck to the classic look yet it was not in the slightest boring,

The feminine chosen luxurious fabrics where dreamy. The shapes of the fabric where not fitted in a way to a usual feminine figure yet the draping caused all of the garments to look super elegant.

Each and every piece looked sleek and elegant.

There may not have been in your face prints but the collection truly felt special and one of a kind. Definitely one to check out.

You can watch the catwalk show here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isdHROPj5MQ

Thirdly there was the Proenza Schouler show.

This show is a little bit different to the i suppose publicized fashion and I personally feel it has a very artistic spin on it.

The collection involved strong and bold statement pieces with a kind of geometrical style in some of them. Layers also played a main feature in the show.

Block colours and a clear colour scheme also created an impact of strength and confidence.

You can watch the show here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4f5o6Q-O4w

Next up is Phillip Lim.

This show was also a special one.

Mixing a feminine yet slightly edgy style created a laid back confidence vibe.

The collection also hinted on a sporty vibe with a certain casualness in some of the garments.

The very subtle hints of yellow within the collection also really made the collection feel spring ready.

You can watch the show here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXcB9hJULuQ

Alexander Wang was obviously another big name and extraordinary show at New York Fashion week.

I actually personally felt that the Alexander Wang show had different vibes to normal. This kept things interesting and exciting. The style was of course Alexander Wang recognizable and familiar but it felt more innovative and different which interested me particularly.

I felt that this time there was more of a performance sportswear impact into the collection. This is of course something which Alexander Wang is known for including within the collection. However this show had an obvious display I personally felt of performance sportswear opposed to just a street style.

The show and parts of the collection also reminded me in some ways of junky styling. For example items which looked familiar to a shirt had been used as skirts. The pattern cutting was innovative and broke boundaries which created excitement also.

There was also a noticeable amount of loose wear clothes in the collection which gave a tom boy kind of vibe to some of the clothes.

What was also interesting was the use of mixed gender. This is something which is not perhaps often done and I found interesting to see how the collection worked with this.

You can watch the show here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tIFsKZ19eE

DVF of course was also an amazing show too.

The DVF show this year may not have been as well published as last year however nevertheless it still had some major garment pieces in it and of course still had the DVF style written all over it.

The collection was actually hugely designed by Jonathon Saunders. The collection was reflective of the traditional DVF style with a contemporary twist.

There were florals and prints of course paired with block colours also. The garments had a luxurious drape to them.

The collection also had emphasis on knit which is something not worked with a lot in DVF collections previously.

Another predominate show from NYFW was DKNY.

This show had a strong street style vibe to it. It is a style I am really loving at the moment.

I personally felt that the collection had a similar style to the Yeezy collection however it was more clean cut.

There was a lot of use of block bold deep and muted or striking colours.

The collection was a mixture of garments which where shaped to emphases curves on the body and also shapes which made completely loose wearing garments.

Micheal Kors was a popular show also at NYFW.

Vintage is the one thing which really came to mind after seeing this show and as you all know I do love my vintage.

The colour choices of blues, whites, pinks, oranges and greens made an interesting combination however with the prints I really think this completed the vibe of the collection.

The statement collars, sleeves and belts also evolved an impacting show.

You can watch the show here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DHMUo5wC8Q

Next up is one of my all time favourite designers at the moment. Jeremy Scott.

Jeremy is not always the most popular among-st fast fashion lovers as he is known for being innovative and experimenting with colour. However I love his collections. They have a clear creative direction and show they have been inspired which is something which really interests me.

This collection I felt had a very edgy vibe to it particularly created by the sue of black and PVC, The bright colours with this also created a punk look.

Some of the garments had a pop art style to them with graphic prints and bold colours this worked really well with the punk contrast as it created a confident and strong atmosphere.

Towards the later part of the show cartoon styles which Jeremy is more known for appeared with outlandish shapes formed by sequins. It was an amazing show and really stood out at Fashion Week for me.

You can the show here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXMwySsehHg

Finally there is of course Rag and Bone.

Rag and Bone have a more traditional style to them and there collection at fashion week I think was reflective of that.

There collection at NYFW I felt had a slouchy vibe to some of the garments however the pieces still had tailored look to them.

The Rag and Bone show this year also included comfy street style outfits. Yet they still had a professional workable purpose to them.

You can watch the show here- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pf6SLdHyXwU

That finalizes the key shows that stood out the me at the September New York Fashion Week. I hope you enjoyed the post and thank you so much for reading!

I would also love to hear from you if you like these kind of fashion posts.
